what you have in washington just to take a step back here, what you have in washington is fundamentally a republican party at war with itself. you have democrats who feel that they don't need to negotiate because they won an election. while both of those situations may be understandable, the system has broken down fundamentally. we have to go over the cliff and see taxes rise, and then maybe, maybe they'll understand that they're there working for the american people and not for themselves....
